Juvenile arthritis

Arthritis is a condition where in the joints get inflamed and thereby leads o severe pain and swelling. Juvenile arthritis occurs in children. It has affected more than 300000 children in the United States alone and is very prevalent. Symptoms for this condition cannot be found out easily in children. Pain is definitely a major symptom but a child may not be able to tell it. Further the child may restrict the usage of the part that has been afflicted and might lead to limping. There will definitely be swelling but it is difficult to find out. Nowadays there are various scans available for this purpose.

It can be of three different types in children. The first one is called oligoarticular arthritis and affects a few joints initially. The next one is polyarticular arthritis that affects mainly the jaw and more number of joints. The final one called Still’s disease and the main symptoms are fever and reddish rashes. Whatever it may be it is very important to see a doctor and cure it immediately. Usually doctors prescribe drugs in such cases. But an Arthritis alternative would be enzyme supplement like Medizym which will avoid the side effects of the drugs.
